Position on Race:  Race was created as a tool to separate groups of people.  No race is superior to the other in any way.  It is our position that we do not live in a color-blind society or world, and that young minds deserve a true and accurate depiction of the greatness of people from the past who share similar cultural backgrounds and ethnicity.  Young psyches must be able to identify with and believe in the greatness that lies within them.  The importance of cultural competence cannot be understated.  What we provide as a company encourages young African Americans while educating all others with historically accurate information.
